Intellectual Property Law Careers for the Federal Bar Association’s IPLS
Ira Cohen, Esquire, moderated a virtual, on-line Webinar for the Federal Bar Association (FBA), and presented by Intellectual Property Law Section. A trio of panelists talked to the law students and offered advice and guidance for practicing IP law (copyrights, patents, and trademarks). The on-line event was held on Friday, November 20, 2020. Mr. Cohen is the Chair of the IPLS, as well as an FBA Moot Court Judge, an FBA Mentor, as well as a Life Fellow of the Foundation of the FBA.The FBA represents the Federal legal profession. It consists of more than 18,000 federal lawyers, including 1,500 federal judges, who work together to promote the sound administration of justice and integrity, quality and independence of the judiciary. The FBA also provides opportunities for scholarship and for judges and lawyers to professionally and socially interact. The mission of the Association is to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and the needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary and the public they serve. The Association strives to be recognized as the premier bar association serving the federal practitioner and judiciary.
