On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, Ira Cohen, Esq. appeared before the Supreme Court of the United States, in Washington, D.C., in connection with a special motion. The purpose of the motion was to move the admission of 11 federal court practitioners to the Bar of the high court. Attorney Cohen has been a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court since 1993. Hon. John G. Roberts, Chief Justice, granted Attorney Cohen’s motion and administered the Oath of Admission to the candidates moved by Attorney Cohen. The group was invited to remain in the chamber for oral arguments on said date. As of the date of that occasion, the Supreme Court Bench consisted of Chief Justice Roberts, and Associate Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel A. Alito, Jr., Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Neil M. Gorsuch, Brett M. Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, and Ketanji Brown.
