Ira Cohen, Esq. Attends FBA, 2022 Annual Meeting and Convention, in Charleston, S.C.

Ira Cohen, Esquire, Immediate Past Chair of the Federal Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Law Section, attended the FBA Annual Meeting and Convention in Charleston, S.C., from Sept. 14-18, 2022. At that time, among other academic, social, and networking events attended, Attorney Cohen also was sworn in as a Member of the Bar of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Attorney Cohen will continue in his multiple roles with the FBA as Moot Court Judge, Mentor, Columns Editor for the TFL, and a Life Fellow of the FBA Foundation.  

The FBA represents the Federal legal profession. It consists of more than 18,000 federal lawyers, including 1,500 federal judges, who work together to promote the sound administration of justice and integrity, quality and independence of the judiciary. The FBA also provides opportunities for scholarship and for judges and lawyers to professionally and socially interact. The mission of the Association is to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and the needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary and the public they serve.
