Ira Cohen Appointed Mentor for Federal Bar Association’s Lift Up Leadership Mentorship Program for 2022

Ira Cohen, Esquire, has been appointed as a Mentor for the Lift Up Leadership Mentorship Program of the Federal Bar Association (FBA). Mr. Cohen’s appointment is effective immediately. The FBA recognizes that education and mentorship reinforces one another. Accordingly, the program objectives are to offer a space for a vibrant discussion between law students with seasoned professionals. Participating mentees may choose mentors based on professional goals, specific topical interests, experiences, location/chapter, or leadership roles. The program allows for the mentorship pair to build a mutually beneficial and positive relationship. Mr. Cohen will continue to serve as a law school student mentor for the South Florida Chapter of the FBA.

The FBA represents the Federal legal profession. It consists of more than 18,000 federal lawyers, including 1,500 federal judges, who work together to promote the sound administration of justice and integrity, quality and independence of the judiciary. The FBA also provides opportunities for scholarship and for judges and lawyers to professionally and socially interact. The mission of the Association is to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and the needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary and the public they serve.
